Magnolija ring
from €410.00

The Magnolija is a large open statement ring, with petal shapes that wrap around and extend along your finger.

Materials: 925 sterling silver.

Collection: Pasakas Par Ziediem (from Latvian - Tales About Flowers) is rooted in subconscious sketches made over time. Later, when translated into a physical form, the organic shapes evolve into flowers. Something gets lost in this process. Something else emerges. It’s an ongoing story involving layers of thoughts, ideas, and search in material.

All of our jewellery is handmade upon request in our atelier in Antwerp, Belgium. Manufacturing time for silver pieces is 2 weeks, and 3 weeks for gold or rhodium plated pieces.

URZULA VOL is a jewellery designer and goldsmith originally from Riga, Latvia, currently based in Antwerp, Belgium, where she completed her education and developed her practice. With focus on craftsmanship, materiality and detail all works by URZULA VOL are designed and handmade in her Antwerp atelier. Her designs explore layering, contrasts and textures. Rough, sculptural forms meet precious metals and polished surfaces.

Working primarily in sterling silver, URZULA VOL connects artisanal approach with timeless design. While using lost-wax casting technique, jewellery forms are defined through the making process rather than being fully predetermined. Classical ideas of beauty are reinterpreted through an aesthetic emphasising imperfection, sensitivity and the beauty of decay. URZULA VOL invites the wearer to recognise the value of artisanal jewellery and to find beauty beyond classical standards.

Along production of jewellery, her practice includes metal sculpture and object restoration, which focuses on knowledge of techniques, material treatment and appreciation of heritage.
